I don't think a 7 year old can fully understand or comprehend what sex is, if you were to explain it to them. I don't think that by not telling a child that young about sex is not being "open" and "being afraid to tell them the truth about life" Its about being age appropriate on those "truths about life". Obviously this 7 year old child saw, or learnt something from his parents or TV. Its not normal behaviour for a child that age.

My 6 almost 7 year old can tell you about her dad making her eat all of her corn dog and that she's still mad at him for it. That happened when she was three! If my kid can remember that bullshit, I'm sure kids who are molested, are going to remember being molested to some extent. If it's all of it, or only a little bit, they are going to remember something!

The kids were mocking a behavior they have seen. This has been true for every case of young ones and sexual crimes I have personally seen. They have usually been victim to or witnessed this behavior elsewhere.

You hit the nail on the head! The kids are too young to know right from wrong in a rape case, I think that whoever they learned this behavior from should be charged with "accomplice to rape" or whatever the charge is.
