There's been an update to the story that police were supposed to be standing guard of the event as there was word of probable retaliation carried out. The cops ended up at the funeral home instead of the church... and then were called back to the police station to write a report on why they ended up at the funeral home.  That was a couple days ago so not sure of the current situation.

In the US they call this a “double mass shooting” to indicate both that multiple victims were shot, not to mention they were shot near a church
