Re: 6 Killed, Incl Shooter at Molson Coors Company
One problem? how bout these: In the vast majority of mass shootings, upwards of 70%, the killer owned their guns legally. Not only does America have an oversaturation of guns, but we also have a desperate lack of mental health support and care. The stigma felt by men, while it is aging out, is still a huge reason why. Lack of health insurance that covers mental health is another part of it. Lack of insurance of any kind causes so much stress. Stress, depression, no health care, and a gun within reach. What could go wrong? Some gun owners are lax at securing their weapons and ammo, and as a result they are stolen and used in crimes, all the time. Some gun owners are so lax with safety, that small children are finding loaded weapons and accidentally killing themselves or others with them. |

How about try being a decent human being to one another and not do childish racist acts towards another person. So you won't have to worry about someone wanting to blow your brains out. Guns should be allowed , the people owning them need to be screened better. |

Re: 6 Killed, Incl Shooter at Molson Coors Company
Guns are part of American identity? Are you for real? America was a very different place 200+ years ago. Britain has managed to evolve in that time from burning people at the stake and waterboarding to something a little more civilised. Just because guns were considered normal back then, doesn't make them appropriate now. It's a bit like me saying I want my own nuke mounted on my roof to protect me from the Russians. You'll never control who ends up with a gun in their hand, but know that anyone that does can change/end someones life before they even have the time to think about the consequences. That's just the point. You can just about screen the ones that own guns legally, but not the ones who stole the gun from your gun cabinet while you slept or picked the gun up from someone behind a liquor store. If you're 100% consistent in locking away your guns and do not have any children or family members with any sign of mental illness, then good for you, but not everyone can say the same, but those people still feel ENTITLED to own a gun. |

Re: 6 Killed, Incl Shooter at Molson Coors Company
I just don't understand the logic behind the gun control. Few crazy people do crazy shit and the gun gets blamed. Way more people die from all kinds of things than mass shootings. An average of 350 people are killed with ar 15 or other so called assault rifles and people act like it's the end of the world and we need to ban guns. More die from choking on hot dogs, ban hot dogs?

If a man gets drunk and drives and kills an entire family with his f150 do people blame the truck? Ford? Jim Beam? No, they blame the person for using something irresponsibly.
