There was another woman, on here somewhere, who was pregnant, then stopped feeling the baby so she believed he or she went to sleep. She was afraid of the cruel hospitals, in Egypt, if memory serves. She never bore any other children, but, adopted. She did go to a hospital after 40 years and the baby had calcified and attached to some of her internal organs. She was in her late 70's when it was removed. It airs on TLC or DSC as, "The Woman Who Was Pregnant for 40 Years." I find these cases both interesting and amazing! Some of the cases of fetuses inside their twins, (fetus in fetu), are also interesting. The things that come out! One guy, in India, I believe, had a protruding belly and nothing showed up on x-rays. Another test, possibly and MRI, showed his twin. When removed, it was a dark hairy ball of calcified material. Eek! But, interesting! |

Yikes! When you consider everything that can go wrong in the womb it's amazing anyone is born healthy with all their limbs.
