Re: 31 Children Burned to Death in Colombia Bus Accident: Red Cross
The driver left the kids onboard, he din't told them to get off the bus, which would have been the FIRST thing to do before handling gasoline not only in proximity, but even INSIDE the bus; as he tried to start the engine (which had stalled) The quote above is from an 11-year-old girl: the one i mentioned before, yes, the one who lost two brothers. He saved one and lost two, this little ero. At the first attempt to start the engine the fire started, the driver said that he was going to get some water to extinguish the fire, then vanished. The people who threw rocks at his windows had planned to lynch him, of course they weren't there just to cause 50$ worth of damage to his windows. And The bus was overcrowded The driver had no driving license (according to the prosecutor) The bus was overcrowded The bus had lacked the authorization to provide services since 2012 The bus also lacked transport insurance It was contraband gasoline, what had been used to refuel the bus A man left his sons and 29 more kids to burn alive to save his ass, and he gave himself up to the police for the same reason. P.S.: The evangelical church leader who had chartered the bus was also arrested |
