On the contrary, I was feel an immediate affinity to such a discussion whilst the consequences of such a topic are being broadcast throughout the nation.

Whether you perceive the topic as politics or not is your call. I see it as a problem with the US psyche which is a problem for political discussion at ANY time. And I honestly don't give a toss how offended or otherwise you are, seriously I don't. I am almost in tears watching the news of this tragedy and all I can think of is surely you guys have to have a serious talk with yourselves about this.

Ryan Lanza's mother was found shot at the school.

WNBC says Lanza then drove to Sandy Hook Elementary School where his mother was the kindergarten teacher. Lanza is said to have entered the front office at the school and opened fire, then walked to his mother's classroom and opened fire, killing her and other students
