Re: 28 dead in Connecticut school shooting massacre
Nobody will ever be able to eradicate guns. Stricter gun controls would be about removing them from everyday life and changing public attitudes towards them. As per my previous post, I'm not sure how that could be accomplished in the US but is it not worth consideration? It seems like the topic hasn't been given serious consideration in the US or perhaps it just isn't a realistic proposition? Feeling it here too. Hoping the US public use that feeling to do something positive, if they can. |

Re: 28 dead in Connecticut school shooting massacre
it disgusts me that people use the deaths of children, elementary aged children, as a catalyst to bitch about politics of a country they arent even a part of. |

Re: 28 dead in Connecticut school shooting massacre
Kanda, it's not bitching. If anything it's to make sure their deaths are not in vain. If someone dies because of a faulty piece of equipment, Health & Safety laws are brought in to prevent it happening to someone else. If a load of people are killed by guns, in a country with crap gun laws... you see where I'm going with this? |

Kanda444, if you see my comments as "bitching" then I feel sorry for you and your narrow-minded attitude.

Re: 28 dead in Connecticut school shooting massacre
bullshit.... the laws here have no effect on you. would moments after the 7/7 bombing be an appropriate time for an American to bring up UK politics? no... that's a disgusting way to act, imo.
