Re: 25 Stone Pet Pig
Technically, Babe and other Micro/Mini/Teacup pigs are miniature pigs. They're just potbellies with fancy names and potbellies are miniature compared to other domestic breeds that reach over 400 pounds. I knew a few pigs that were slimmer in body but weighed 600 pounds each. They went to slaughter as they were raised for. What is it that responsible people always say when adopting dogs? Look at the parents. If the parents are not on site or the website you are looking at doesn't have pictures, then walk away. It's the same with these pigs. Have you ever seen pictures of the parents of these supposed micro pigs? I don't think so. Based on my research, if you do happen to see the parents, they are either extremely young and not at their full growth potential or they are underfed (or both). Once I have bought my own house with land, I plan on fostering and adopting micro pigs. Here are good websites to get an idea of the reality of these animals: http://www.vegaspigpets.org/ http://www.farec.org/teacupmicromini.htm http://www.scampp.org/ http://www.cppa4pigs.org/Tiny_Pigs__.html There are many many more. Just search for teacup pig rescue or micro pig rescue in Google. And here is a picture of Paris's pig |

Re: 25 Stone Pet Pig
25 stone is 350 pounds. Learn to use Google. Just type in the amount that needs converting (25 stone) to what you want it converted to (pounds). It will be the first result. Not that hard. So it should look like this: 25 stone to pounds Search result: 350 pounds Don't make us do all the work for you. |
