The people going out to the bars and clubs aren't the ones causing issues either. Glad the knee jerk "close at 1am" shit died quickly this week. It's folks loitering and looking for trouble imho. Back in the 90s it was the skinheads you had to keep an eye one, the problems groups just change over time.

And since you mentioned Guavaween, if they put a fence around Ybor like they would do for the Knight Parade, that might not be a bad idea.

They used to have a fence around Ybor during Guavaween. I loved it. For like four years in a row that I went they would close it off, you pay entrance to get in and then you can club bar hop all night drunkenly through the streets. It was great. The radio stations would all have stages setup around the area with live concerts. I enjoyed hopping from set to set through the night. Tits would hang freely!

That should come back. This was not Guavaween. Guavaween got nerfed to a single closed lot next to where an old building which has hosted many different club over time in the late 2000's.

This was just a regular weekend in Ybor city during Halloween weekend that got out of hand.

I would go to Ybor in the late-90s a bit when i lived in Sarasota for a coupla years.
Never had a problem.
rarely even saw or heard loud ppl or scuffles.
