I have no sympathy for anyone that uses violence to show dominance. A 12 year old can kill you just as dead as an 18 year old.......We have let children become decision makers and our communities are the result of my generation not being parents.

I grew up around 11-15 year old gang members before I moved away from los angeles and have seen greater acts of violence committed by those kids than any adult. I have ZERO sympathy. Innocents are always killed via some chicken shit drive-by. If someone walks up and executes the victim they have to have done some serious shit to earn it. This isn't fucking Juarez where poor, uneducated Mexican kids are often given a choice: work for the Cartel or you and your family will die.

This is likely a systemic failure on many levels. Parental, societal, cultural, academic. Wherever you're most comfortable pointing the blame, the fact remains that this kid had been arrested 5 times by the time he was in Junior High. No bright future lost here.

It's pathetic that the media is capitalizing on his youth with this "Mommy mommy" bullshit to tear at the heartstrings of privileged SJW's and white soccer moms. If his 'mommy' had given more of a shit or he'd bothered to listen to her when she did, he'd still be alive and on his way to making some sort of societal contribution beyond making the street cleaners scrub a little harder for their wage.
