I've always wanted to visit Poveglia. Though I'd avoid taking cameras and cellphones, maybe just some battery packs in case the whole theory of Ghosts using that energy to manifest were true

Fantastic post, I love reading about deserted and forgotten places. I'd love to visit Poveglia, sounds like there could be some spooky shit going on there. Wouldn't mind seeing Ilha de Queimada Grande either, I'm a big fan of snakes!

A couple of those places remind me that I wonder if a real life Hostel for the twisted rich exists somewhere . . I suspect it does.  |
