Re: 1 Dead, 11 Shot at Ohio Fraternity House
And pro-gun folks wonder why the laws are softer....the whole dynamic, they want guns to protect themselves("the right to bear arms"), but protect them from what? Assholes with guns? The day the world went to hell is when people stopped using their fists like big boys and started using guns and weapons.

Re: 1 Dead, 11 Shot at Ohio Fraternity House
Oh, set let's click our heels three times and get rid of guns for the whole world! Guns are a part of reality, you can't get rid of them. Take them away from citizens and the governments will have a monopoly on power. In america, people who make up society will just have to be the kind of people who are mature enough to live with others owning guns. They aren't going away, and taking them away will cause (even more) tyranny. In a perfect world guns would be volntarily forgotten about and never made or kept, but its a fantasy. Guns are here, they aren't going anywhere. Governments and criminals will always take advantage of them, it is only fair and sensible that law abiding citizens also have them. It is also a, or even THE fundamental freedom in the usa, except for maybe the first amendment, and to tell you something, if guns were taking away from citizens, how would we protect from other take aways like our constitution? Guns keep the fema camps at bay. |
