1 Dead, 11 Shot at Ohio Fraternity House
Associated Press: YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Authorities in northeast Ohio say a shooting at a fraternity house just north of the Youngstown State University campus killed one student and injured 11 people, including six students. Youngstown police Lt. Franklin Palmer says the shooting happened early Sunday and no arrests have been made. A statement from the school says officers are working to identify suspects, and the YSU police chief says there's no threat to the campus. Information on the identities and conditions of the injured was not immediately available. The university says the person killed and six of the injured are YSU students. The school says YSU President Cynthia Anderson met students and their families as the hospital this morning and called it "a sad day for the YSU family." |

With all due respect, dooshman, gun control laws will not stop MOST of the crimminals. It will only stop the certifiable crazies that can be caught on the law enforcements radar. for that to happen, there needs to be a GROSS adjustment in the so-called doctor-patient privilege when it comes to people deemed potentially dangerous.

Re: 1 Dead, 11 Shot at Ohio Fraternity House
Further investigation will probably uncover a drug problem or a rape problem involving the frat house. Unfortunately I had the displeasure of living close to a frat house after buying my first home (And discovered why it was so reasonable). Not all houses are dysfunctional but most are disruptive to the community. Anytime I hear of a shooting crime involving multiple victims in a home or business, there is usually a reason.

Re: 1 Dead, 11 Shot at Ohio Fraternity House
Why? If just one person in that house was allowed to carry concealed or what have you, or was smart enough to own a shotgun for protection, then this crazy man could have been dealt with before he shot a dozen people. Do the research, even with stupid laws already in place to hinder gun ownership, guns STILL prevent more crime than they cause. And furthermore, gun control laws only affect legal gun owners, how will they stop criminals from using the illegal guns they already use? The laws will only hinder citizens defense. Besides, gun ownership in america is a BIRTHRIGHT, just like citizenship is when you are born on the soil. Its not to be fucked with. Don't like it? Go live somewhere else. Australia or england or some bullshit. Go on. |

"Stricter gun laws"??????????????? Killers don't give a FUCK about gun laws. I always laugh when I see a sign that says no guns allowed near a school because I'm armed despite the sign. Complete waste of time. Carry it for the zombies at ALL time, not some times |
