America should get its priorities straight! Kids nowadays are not getting proper education, parents will go to jail for spanking their kids, because they can call the police on them if they do, damn, kids don't die from a spanking but they can get their life ruined for not being properly educated. If the cane was brought back to school it could be a deterrent to avoid such behavior, saving youngsters from beatings or spending a few years in jail. I bet any of those kids rather had gotten a caning in time than spending 3 to 7 years in prison for acting stupid and their parents not having the possibility to use harsh discipline sometimes for the sake of their offspring. But oh noooo! how could a parent hit his/her boy, he could be traumatized, yeah right!, think about the trauma of those teenagers having to spend a few years in prison! |
