Have you not seen other cops getting killed because they didn't use enough force? Best thing to do even if you are not wrong is to not resist arrest or anything then let the court settle your dispute. Hell you might get a payday. You cannot hit an officer nor even put your hands on them. They are allowed to hit, strike or anything else for their own safety. An innocent separation can turn into grabbing his gun within seconds. Put on a uniform and deal with most of these clowns on a daily basis and then post a comment on here. Yes they chose the job and the dangers but no matter what the infraction is the have the right to insure their own safety.
