Duly noted. I'd never hit my (now ex) wife. She tried to provoke it several times without hitting me in an incriminating way herself. When I wouldn't engage, she'd try to bow-up to me to keep me from walking past. I just set my jaw and walked-on-by, kinda like a snow plow and nothing more.

I'm 6'3" 320lb (and about 20lbs over fightin' weight.) There was no way that woman was going to stop me from walking away from her bear-baiting without hitting me. And she may have gotten away with one strike. At two, I'd have grabbed her hand and not let her hit me again. At the third strike, I call the sheriff. She never hit me a third time for that reason.

Personally, I don't think you should hit someone else unless you're defending yourself (or a boxer.) That goes for both the goose and the gander. :|

I think the bigger issue is the fact that he shows absolutely no remorse for what he did. After he knocks her out he just acts like this is a regular occurrence, drags her body like it's just a bag of meat and throws her body down on the floor.

20 bucks says this isn't the first time it's happened, it's only the first time he was caught.
