Re: Ray Price Knockout Punch To His Wife In Elevator
So have I. The bigger question remains, which is why is physical violence towards a man OK but a physical defensive response is not? She was advancing towards him to physically assault him after she had already assaulted him. He was in an elevator, he could not walk away or go anywhere, he was cornered. |

Re: Ray Price Knockout Punch To His Wife In Elevator
How many times are you going to let someone punch you in the face before you are forced to respond? I've never punched a woman in the face, and I hope I never have to, but I have been viciously attacked by women before. Are you going to let her gauge your eyes, kick your balls, punch your face because she figures you won't retaliate? Fuck off. Ask anyone that has worked security in a drinking establishment, and they will tell you physically restraint or removal of a female is wayyyy worse than dealing with a man. Equal rights is a two way street. |

If a woman is doing some damage then by all means defend yourself. In this situation though, I don't thing she was doing any physical damage. I think she hurt his ego so he swung.

I don't think you understand how strong NFL running backs are? He could have easily restrained her without striking. He never even thought of stopping or grabbing her. His 1st and only thought was "knock this bitch out". Ultimately this would be considered inappropriate self defense.

Re: Ray Price Knockout Punch To His Wife In Elevator
Like Illusion said he could of easily restrained her especially due to the fact he is a damn running back for the nfl. I believe in asserting your dominance when it comes to women trying to get the best of you but attacking a woman cause she slapped you? What does it prove? You a man can knock out a woman? Good job buddy |

Re: Ray Price Knockout Punch To His Wife In Elevator
On the scale of self defence it was probably overboard, then again with lousy video quality it's hard to see how much force he put into the blow..... It doesn't take very much to knock someone out if you hit then squarely on the chin. What's pissing me off is how the media is totally ignoring her role in this, by physically assaulting him multiple times prior to his retaliation. This isn't a clear cut case of domestic abuse like many are portraying it to be. If he had in any way touched her without physical provocation I would have a completely different opinion on this. |

Re: Ray Price Knockout Punch To His Wife In Elevator
That's an easy thing to say until you find yourself in that situation. I don't believe in "asserting dominance" because I don't think that it's my role as a man to dominate anyone either physically or emotionally....... I do believe in equal rights and the right to not be physically assaulted though. I still haven't seen this "attack". The only thing I've seen is a woman repeatedly assaulting a man, and then lunging into a defensive blow that knocked her out......... At what point in this was he the aggressor? He hit her once, in self defence, as she was lunging at him...... He did not hit her or harm her at any other time. |

Re: Ray Price Knockout Punch To His Wife In Elevator
Hmm, ok. I'M a woman. And as a woman I HATE seeing other women thinking they have some kind of birth right in hitting whomever they like and expect no repercussions. That said, it's not ok to cold cock your woman to the point where it takes her minutes to "come to". To my fellow femme fatales: STOP hitting people, NOT COOL.
