He could EASILY have died from this head wound. It could take a few days, but the internal haemorrhaging and bleeding could EASILY bring on a sudden death. That's why it is always medically recommended to get a CAT-scan after ANY fight or blunt trauma to the head, even just an accidental fall to the ground. You NEVER know what's gone on inside and I've seen plenty of deaths result from what initially seems like "nothing".

Why doesn't he move? He either has seriously impaired reflexes or he thinks she's joking.
