Things turned ugly Saturday night in the stands during Boise State’s 40-14 win over Fresno State at Bulldog Stadium as three different fights broke out resulting in five arrests. It was all caught on cell phone cameras. The incidents were alcohol-related. In one moment of a fight, people fall at least 5 feet from the stands and onto the concrete concourse in front of a stadium worker. The fight spills onto the field where police pinned the man to the ground. During the course of that disturbance, one of the subjects that was fighting was being taken into custody by a Fresno Police officer, police told. And the father of the individual that was being taken into custody pulled that officer away from his son, impeding the officer’s efforts to arrest this individual. He was arrested as a result of that. Impeding a police officer during the performance of his duties is a felony.   |
