Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. The 17-year-old victim, identified as Darío Carrizo, was walking with his girlfriend (also 17) when they were intercepted by a white pickup truck.

The driver exited the vehicle and began beating Carrizo. Once the teenager was on the ground, the attacker delivered a brutal kick to the head, causing him to lose consciousness.

The attacker has been identified as 35-year-old Matteo Martinoya, who is the ex-partner of the girl accompanying Carrizo.

Following the assault, Martinoya fled the scene in his vehicle and is currently at large. Local police have launched an intensive search to locate him.

He has a criminal record, including a prior stabbing incident in a nearby town.

Carrizo remains in intensive care in critical condition. Doctors are monitoring him closely due to the severity of the head trauma sustained during the beating/kicking.

The case is being investigated by the local Prosecutor's Office as attempted homicide.

side note.. I googled age of consent and in Argentina it's 18. I assume this 35 Y/O is going to have more than one legal problem to deal with if the police do catch him.
