These highbrow folk were members of a Mensa debate club holding a discussion on the merits of the revolutions in the Middle East. One of the group posited that perhaps the ousting of the entrenched leaders would lead to long-term destabilization in the region. Another countered angrily that democracy was all-important, taking precedence over any stability imposed by despotic Western-sanctioned leaders. Before anyone knew it, insults led to punches and chairs being thrown.
