Dallas Taqueria Brawl Sparked by Chips and Salsa
In the early morning hours of June 25, a brawl started when one woman hurled an object at an opposing party at El Paisano Restaurant Y Taquería at 2911 Lombardy Lane in North Dallas. The offense prompted a flare up of hair-pulling and men attempting to diffuse the situation by separating the women. Their attempts were futile as the fight then escalates into a larger brawl largely including men, sending other customers into the corners of the eatery as the fighters made the establishment's floor their boxing ring. Spilled drinks, salsa and chips mix into the melee while at least five men duked it out. The man who kept his camera rolling as the fight poured into the parking lot claimed it all started over red and green salsa and chips. One of the main proponents of the bashing is seen in the video fleeing the restaurant in a souped-up sports car moments before authorities arrive. According to Eater, no arrests were made in the incident. The Dallas Police Department was not immediately available to confirm or comment on the fight as of Wednesday morning. |
