Seemed to be skewers to me and I’m pretty sure that’s what they were as restaurants in China don’t normally use wooden chopsticks. They’re usually metal.

Looking at the video again, I think the victim may have put his finger in the attacker’s face before the violence started. That seems to have sent the other guy over the edge.

On June 11, a video of a man being stabbed in the face with a skewer and smashed on the head by a wine bottle in a barbecue restaurant was circulated on the Internet. A staff member of the Internet Information Office of the Mudanjiang Municipal Party Committee in Heilongjiang Province told that the video has been monitored locally and the matter is currently being dealt with. Surveillance video circulated on the Internet showed that at about 18:16 on June 8, two men were sitting on a booth talking in a restaurant. Suddenly, a man on the opposite side got up and slapped the man in black on the booth, and then beat him. The man stabbed the man in black in the face with a stick from a barbecue skewer. The man in white next to the man in black kept trying to dissuade him, but the assailant did not listen. The man in black kept covering his face with his hands, while the assailant continued to stab the man with a stick and smashed the head of the man in black with a wine bottle. His face was dripping with blood. The entire beating process in the surveillance video lasted several minutes. However, a staff member of the barbecue restaurant said that he was not aware of the matter and needed to ask the police for information. The police station in the jurisdiction where the barbecue restaurant is located did not respond to an interview. doesn't look like a gangster to me lol. Sitting there, maybe a bit drunk, waiting and receiving a beating and stabs by a manbun. Maybe the manbun was a gangster and they were afraid. |
