Re: 17 Year Old Makes 34 Year Old TAP OUT!!!
I train at the same school he goes to and was at the fight show this past weekend with him while he walked around with a cast on his hand. This video also made Bushido and WorldStarHipHop and he's catching hell from his teammates and coaches about it. His gf is the one who originally uploaded it on Vimeo but has since taken it down.

Re: 17 Year Old Makes 34 Year Old TAP OUT!!!
Yea, I think that's the one that did it. He let his adrenaline get the better of him, which is easy to do when you've been punched in the head a few times and slammed backwards on the concrete, and threw those clumsy shots to the hard part of that guy's head. You can see that he starts it off with an elbow on the feet, having the presence of mind that a bare handed punch in a street fight is a bad idea, but gets temporarily caught up with emotions when the guy goes out and started hitting him, which he admits was a stupid thing to do. He regained his composure quickly and offered to shake the guy's hand but as you can see the guy was still being the aggressor even after being put down. The guy is actually talking as if he just won the fight. I mistakenly said he's 4-0, he's actually 5-0, with 3 of those wins coming in less than a minute of the first round, one a tko, one a rear naked choke as he gets in this video, and one a triangle choke. His other 2 wins were both very hard fought split decisions which I had the pleasure of watching in person. He's got a bright future and it's a shame that this silly incident cost him the chance to fight again this past weekend. That's why punches are a bad idea in a street fight, because the guy you beat has a few bruises for a couple days and you end up with a useless hand for 6 weeks that can cause missed time from work amongst other things. |
