Audio is from a June 9, 2026 officer-involved shooting in Country Club Hills involving a Chicago Police Officer assigned to a task force.

The officer was assisting ATF in an operation. During the operation, several individuals approached a vehicle occupied by ATF agents and attempted a robbery. One ATF agent discharged a weapon in the vehicle and struck one of the individuals.

The Chicago Police Officer observed the attempted robbery and pursued one of the individuals in an unmarked vehicle. Both exited their vehicles shortly after, and the officer discharged a weapon, striking the individual.

The two individuals were taken to area hospitals. An officer was taken to a hospital in good condition. Three weapons were recovered on scene.
