911 Call for Guns in Vehicle Near 300 W. Division
On October 13, 2024, Chicago police responded to a 911 call from a passenger who said other passengers in the vehicle they were traveling in had weapons. Officers searched the area, found the vehicle, and gave commands for everyone inside to exit. The individuals in the vehicle did not comply. As officers engaged, the vehicle fled, resulting in an officer discharging their firearm. Officers searched for the vehicle and found it abandoned a short time later.
