That`s bad. I`ve always wondered why the 911 operators keep the caller on the phone so damn long. The address of the caller is right on their screen, they ask too many questions, then it`s too late. I mean, c`mon, I can tell if it`s a real emergency. Send the damn police immediatley. It probably would not have helped in this case, but some cases I think it would save lives. I always hear the 911 operators asking, where are you calling from, what`s your phone number ?....duh....Ok, is he breathing now ?? , etc, etc,. nuts.  |

They immediately alert someone to go, even while they're talking to the person. They try to talk to calm the person down. Though quite a few are idiots because it's a low paying job.
