I worked on a ship up on the great lakes. I believe it was lake Erie. Can't remember the name of the ship but the layout looks like this one. We sat in front of a long row of electrical equipment that had one box that had been repaired. The story from the crew was that the ships electrician had gotten killed working on the box. Probably not the same but it reminds me of it in many ways.

Immolation from an electrocution? That is a brick ton of volts. From the looks of it, he was either snaking power cables that had a fault in them somewhere, Or, He was hitting the transformer with a hammer.
