Y. A. was identified by authorities being the woman who died last Monday, after being hit by a vehicle in Colombia .

The traffic accident was recorded at approximately 4:30 pm near a school. The lady, who apparently was waiting for an urban bus was on the platform next to another citizen, when the tragic event happened.

The driver of a Mazda 323 lost control and ended up invading the pedestrian zone in which the two women were waiting.

Y.A, 67 years old, received a strong blow to the head against the pavement, suffering severe head trauma. Although she was helped and taken quickly to a care center, the wounds were too serious and in the evening of that same day she lost her life. It was known that tomorrow, she would have turned 68 years old.

The second woman who was next to the fatal victim of the incident did not suffer any injuries that compromised her life .
