Re: Water Tanker Head-on Crash with Passenger Van Kills 13
Hard to believe 2 people actually managed to walk away from that. The first survivor seems injured or in shock and sits down near the van, while the second survivor gets out and walks around checking on everyone and working with witnesses to try and free anyone else. The tanker driver must be trapped or unconscious. I'd say both tanker and van had red-lights but only the tanker driver hit his brakes in time, causing his tanker to aquaplane on the wet, greasy road (he probably had a full tank too). As for the van... well, it obviously ignored the red light and only swerved at the last second to avoid the oncoming collision. |

Re: Water Tanker Head-on Crash with Passenger Van Kills 13
As the light turns you can see the tanker hasn't started braking. When he finally does brake like alabubba said, he hydroplanes into other lane. The Van obviously had no intention of stopping. Natural selection :P
