Veggie Seller Runs Towards Train but Slips and Gets Run Over
Vegetable seller Jalal Uddin (40) has finally died after being injured in a train accident in Sreepur, Gazipur. He died while undergoing treatment on Monday (November 3). Earlier, he had an accident at Sreepur Railway Station on Sunday (November 2) night. Later, he was rescued and taken to the hospital in his injured state. It is learned that Jalal Uddin of Nidhiya Char Bepari Para village of Charalgi Union of Gafargaon Upazila of Mymensingh came to Sreepur, Gazipur with a sack full of vegetables on Sunday morning like every day. After selling vegetables all day, he reached Sreepur Railway Station to return home at night. Then, around 9:30 pm, while trying to board the Mymensingh-bound Mahua Express train, another train came from the other direction and he lost his balance and fell on the railway track. Later, locals rescued him in his injured state and took him to Sreepur Upazila Health Complex. When his condition deteriorated there, he was sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. In this regard, Station Master of Sreepur Railway Station Saidur Rahmar said, "Such a tragic incident happened in an instant. The passenger met with an accident while boarding a moving train. As soon as we saw the incident, we quickly rescued him and sent him to the hospital. Later, we received the news of his death while undergoing treatment. |

Well that was a dumb thing to do. Being on train tracks anywhere near a moving train is flat out stupid.

Sorry, but I have never seen a Moose (Meeses?) out selling vegetables! I have a hard time believing that they ever do that!  |
