Tourist Cable Car Breaks Making Tourists Fall in River
On August 8 in the city of Nalchik, russia, a serious incident occurred when a cable of a tourist car suddenly broke, causing the cabin to fall to the ground and many tourists to fall into the water. The accident injured 5 people, fortunately there were no deaths. Witnesses said the incident happened very suddenly, some people in the cabin were thrown into the river below, while the cabin hit the ground hard, causing a loud noise. Rescue forces quickly arrived, took the injured to the emergency room and sealed off the scene to investigate the cause of the incident. |

I was thinking it would be like one of those large trams full of people not like a ski lift.  Still a scary situation to find yourself in.  |
