Never ceases to amaze me. People think since they're in an SUV, ice is no longer ice. Even here where I live -- in the mountains! Still, hope the occupants were alright. Second note, if you ever see something like this, FIRST thing you do is call 911 (or its equivalent), THEN you run to their aid. The tunnel vision of offering aid FIRST, a 911 call an afterthought, wastes valuable seconds, especially if one has no training.

no luck involved, he was driving too damn fast!!! all the cars was driving too damn fast! we have mountains here and some bad ass winters, i can tell you when i have to drive over these mountains in the winter my ass don't go over about 15 miles an hour. |
