Re: SUV Drives Over Maintenance Worker
brazil, A worker who did a job on the floor of a gas station in the Gilberto Machado neighborhood, in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, in the south of Espírito Santo, ended up being run over by a car. The case took place on November 7, but only this week the images were released. Footage from a security camera shows the moment of the crash, around 10:30 am. After leaving one of the pumps, the car goes around to continue on the road, but ends up running over the worker, who was down grinding the floor. According to the Military Police, they were called, however, when they arrived at the scene, they could not locate the parties involved at the post. According to the testimony of witnesses the driver would have refueled the vehicle and, on the way out, ended up running over a man who was down on the ground, performing a maintenance service on the floor. The victim would have been rescued by the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) and the driver would have remained at the scene providing all necessary support, leaving the scene only after the injured man had been removed. probably a short suv driver that can't see shit in so many cases except this wasn't in Asia lol |

Re: SUV Drives Over Maintenance Worker
It seems as though many drivers do not understand that driving a vehicle is not just about maneuvering the vehicle but also about being aware of what's happening behind, laterally & IN THE FRONT of the vehicle they are driving!!! I work in the streets of NYC mobilizing by foot for 2 to 4 hours a day covering a distance of approximately 6 miles & nearly get struck multiple times by vehicles bcoz the drivers of these vehicles are not paying attention to pedestrians & the pedestrian's right-of-way. It infuriates me! |
