Surveillance video shows a cloud of smoke as a roof blows off a Ypsilanti home and the windows shatter. It happened near the intersection of Foley Avenue and Gattengno Sunday afternoon. Authorities say a woman and her six-month-old baby managed to make it out of the home safely but in the moments following the blast, a man couldn't be found. He reportedly went back into the burning home to find his dog. He later turned up and University of Michigan Hospital.Fire officials say the blast appears to be suspicious and are investigating.

It was confirmed to be a marijuana grow-house

A total of 22 search warrants have been executed at private businesses, homes and four warehouses in Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw and Jackson Counties after a seven-month investigation into marijuana trafficking.
More than 500 marijuana plants and weapons have been seized. Several individuals have been arrested.
One of the residences involved in the investigation is the home that exploded in Ypsilanti Township on Sunday . Police say that home is one of the locations where butane was used to process the marijuana.
