Re: Security Guard Using His Handheld Transceiver Struck by Lightning
Plenty of taller, grounded objects that would be more attractive to lightning (such as the flagpole to the right) than he would be, I doubt that his radio caused much, if any at all of ionizing the surrounding air to make it more attractive to the lightning.

We all have to go some time, and that’s how I want to go. Fast, sudden, and no possible chance of knowing it’s happening. No suffering, no time for regrets. Just… poof.

Re: Security Guard Using His Handheld Transceiver Struck by Lightning
I've always liked that song, "Sodomy in the Rain" too... "And in this car our love went much too far It was exciting as thunder Tonight I wonder where you are The windshield wipers seemed to say "Together - together - together - together" And now they are saying "Oh, ne... ver, ne... ver" Ooh-wee, ooh-wee, baby Rhapsody in the rain Rhapsody in the rain Angels keep cryin' for me (don't... stop) Angels keep cryin' for me (don't... stop)" |

His name was Rod. I am shocked to see that. He should have bolted. I wonder if he was blinded by the light. About five seconds later, the act was met with thunderous applause.
