I'm kind of siding with the car on this one.... Dumb cunt shouldn't have been walking across a pitch black street in front of cars, Illegally at that. Should I get charged with an offense because others don't obey traffic laws (ie: jaywalking like a moron at night)? Stupid fat whore was better off dead |

She really came out without bothering to be aware of her surroundings. But are the "drivers" allowed to be so distracted like this lady was? It's like she's scrolling through twitter or something, completely distracted. If that's how the drivers would be in these cars, they need to glow in the dark or something, spot them and avoid them as much as possible. It's disturbing. Also. Maybe put this in the vehicle accidents area.  |

The car didn't do it's job AND there is no way a human driver could have avoided hitting the walker. I was specifically looking for someone to cross and still only had 1 second maximum to react AND avoid her. The LIDAR failed, the walker failed, walker died.

Lets not forget that the most repeated part of the story was that both of them had served time in prison, so in this piece of shit time that we live in it was somehow justified. Our world just continues to suck.

As a pedestrian you have the right of way but it is your responsibility to look out for your own safety around moving automobiles. Especially if you're going to jay walk at night. |
