Re: Retractable Bollard Accidents

The civil engineer should be fired immediately. Why are those even there? Toll road that people are trying to get a free ride on by following the person in front of them through? Put a retractable gate or something that won't puncture gas tanks and destroy vehicles.

Entertaining nevertheless, lol.

Mandatory placement at all intersections with traffic lights. Definitely cut down on red light runners.

Re: Retractable Bollard Accidents

This from the UK, I assume? When the hell did they decide to install stupid shit like that? And are these found at all stoplights or just selected ones? And what the hell do they do when one gets stuck in the up position?

Re: Retractable Bollard Accidents

They are not retractable bollards they are just really close together to.make the street narrow. This is the UK so the driver sits on the right and they don't realize how close the left side of the car is to the bollard.

Re: Retractable Bollard Accidents

That's weird because it really looks like something hit some of those cars from underneath. But yeah they don't look very retractable in the news video.

Re: Retractable Bollard Accidents

Heard a bunch of tires go flat. In the US people would be during the city for the damage done to their auto’s. I couldn’t imagine living in that house. No thanks.

Suck? That would be my daily entertainment. Pull up a lawn chair and get the popcorn.
