I mean, seriously, I came here in 2009 and was totally befuddled about the tone on this forum.
Until back then I was only a member of some german poetry forums.
I could not believe what I saw here: openly racist, hate-filled and derogatory posts against minorities but also against other members.
You know, I am definitely not the person to approve this.
Never really visited the WC for that exact reason.
But I was interested in gore and so I stayed...and got used to it.
What is sometimes written on DR would be unthinkable in most parts of the internet.
I just cannot believe that you're claiming that I insulted you!

I understand that when you type things out it's hard to convey tone, but if you go back and read you insulted me a few times, Top Gear and Yesss. It's not that hard to see.

You insulted me about reading books, a "bachelor of ignorance," you called people "idiots, you were insulting German and maths skills and you said I didn't know the definition of "dialect." You wrote it, not us.

I agree that people here can be rude and cruel, but because they have different views doesn't make them idiots or somehow beneath you.
