A recycling collector was violently run over by a car in the early hours of Tuesday in Brazil. The victim was on a bicycle attached to a recyclable cart.

The man was cycling along the road when he was hit from behind by a vehicle with tinted windows, which was traveling in the same direction.

The driver fled without providing assistance, as if nothing had happened. Ten seconds after the collision, a night guard who was passing by saw the victim lying on the ground and stopped to provide assistance.

A Military Police vehicle that was on patrol arrived shortly after, four minutes after the accident. SAMU was called and helped the recycling collector and brought him to a Hospital.

His health status has not yet been released and the Civil Police are analyzing images from security cameras in the region to identify the driver responsible for causing the accident.

Lucky to survive that. He nearly got recycled.

Car driver wasn't staying in the lane. Bet they were trashed.
