Brilliant vid from the rear go pro on a stick. When it detached it looked like footage from another bike crashing. I had to watch it again to work out what was happening.

I could go into mishap analysis mode right now, but in the interest of brevity, I will not. What I will say is, if he has enough money to buy a bike and proper safety gear, he should also invest in doing some organized track days. |

In California, the Santa Monica/Malibu canyons: Latigo Canyon, Kanan Dume, Mulholland Road, a fun place called “The Rock Store”. I road bikes with my friends on the weekdays through the mountains often. Sunday’s we’re full of riders so not the best times.
