Re: Protesters Ran Over Like Dogs
Listen, bird brain. Stand in the road, expect to get hit by a car. You don't know who you're taking on, or how you are affecting their lives, they could rely on their job and be at risk of losing it if late. Selfish pig.

Re: Protesters Ran Over Like Dogs
Maybe, maybe, maybe.... Better to run over people than to be late for work. Do you agree that people often need to rely on civil disobedience to evoke change? Obviously you agree, so tell me when. Look at the trouble the founding fathers made for the good little Tories trying to get to work. It's time for change in most of the world. Help or get out of the way. |

Re: Protesters Ran Over Like Dogs
So it's ok for some people to break the law, but not others? Like I said, you don't know who you're taking on, or how their lives will be affected. How is making people late for work, or whatever, going to change anything? If you're willing to break the law, you can't complain when others do the same and it affects you even worse. If I was going to protest against something, considering it would be worthwhile, I wouldn't do it by standing in the middle of the friggin' road. By the way, I'm not American. America is not the world.
If you're willing to break the law, you can't complain when others do the same and it affects you even worse. [/quot So a kid cuts across your lawn and you shoot him. He broke the law, so by your "logic" then there can no complaining from him or his parents. You are a little slow. Read and try to understand the concept of civil disobedience. One famous example is from MLK, another from Thoreau, another from Rosa Parks, another from Gandhi, another from Jesus, another the Boston Tea Party, another from the Boston Massacre. Breaking the law takes courage, but without it, there is no attention given to a cause. I could go on and on. Jesus did the same shit (I know that he is as fictional as wonder woman) but he practiced civil disobedience. |
Don't be such a drama mamma , right minded people are fed up of these spoiled rotten snowflakes breaking the law . They should start murdering elected officials and stop harassing common taxpayers to effect the sort of change they are looking . Disclaimer: I do not condone murder of elected officials ;-) |

Re: Protesters Ran Over Like Dogs
What good did blocking a side road like that do for their cause? If it was a protest against cuts, go outside government buildings, go where it will be seen by the world, don't block one part of a random road banging drums and expect to change society. You're just going to piss a few motorists off who are nothing to do with the focus of your anger and would probably support you if you weren't climbing all over their car.
