I doubt he was performing a trick or wheelie. Looks more like a mechanical issue. The fact that he lost his whole right hand could suggest that his glove might have gotten hung up in the throttle somehow.

He wasn’t very handy at riding his hog. He didn’t handle the accident very well. Handlebars are named that for a specific reason. All is ok though because the law has a hand on the situation. Give that officer a hand for not killing a pedestrian.
