Painter, Suspended by Ropes, Dangles Against Power Line and Gets Shocked
A 25-year-old Myanmar painter working in Thailand suffered severe burns after being electrocuted while painting the exterior of a building in Bangkok on Tuesday. The painter was suspended by ropes outside the building when a rope reportedly swung into a high-voltage power line, causing a powerful electric shock. The worker was left hanging from the building with flames visible before rescuers brought him down. He sustained burns to about 70% of his body and was rushed to a Hospital for treatment. |

That's more like it. A flash, Bangkok, and smoke makes it an interesting accident.

Usually these folks get knocked out right away when they get a big shock. Why is this dude at least partially conscious & moving around while he gets torched for quite some time? That had to have been miserable. I'd rather go out right away.
