Lecture should be learnt from this accident. Never to be a short-cutter.
Happened in Hong Kong - Po On Road.
On 20Aug, 2022 at around 1700, An Elderly aged 67 was trying to shortcut the zebra crossing with her trolley just beneath the sight of the 36yo truck driver. The truck hit her and dragged her 5 meters long. She is now hospitalised in intensive care unit.

She hasn't died so not sure if this should be in the death section. Might be a different story if someone follows up on the story. The local police were surprised it was not fatal:

20th August 2022 – (Hong Kong) At around 5pm today, a dump truck was traveling north along Tonkin Street before losing control and hitting an elderly woman surnamed M. (66 years old) crossing the road. She was dragged under the vehicle for at least 5 metres.

When a passerby saw the incident, he immediately shouted at the driver to stop.

Rescue workers arrived and found that the elderly woman had multiple injuries and was trapped under the vehicle in a coma. She was later sent to the hospital for emergency treatment. The police cordoned off the scene to investigate the accident and its cause. The 36-year-old driver was not injured and he was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm to others. He has been detained for investigation.
