That’s why they’re made of orange plastic rubber in the US. That thing damn near matches the color of the road and steel. It’s no wonder he crashed. |

Totally agree. Obviously the rebar should not have been on the road in the first place. But, as you say, a single dirty traffic cone wasn't adequate warning - especially given the attention span of the average motorist (as seen every day on DR). The rebar guy was lucky it was only a motorbike - if a car or truck hit the rebar it could have injured him. PS: I'd not heard the term "traffic pylon" before. When I googled it I ended up on a site called trans-supply.com. It's like the Village People with heavy equipment. |
