Man Dies when Welding a Leaking Large Compressed Air Tank Explodes
Vietnam, Around 9:30 AM last Saturday Mr. N.V.H, 43, brought a large compressed air tank with a leak at the bottom to Mr. N.C.H, 70, to have it repaired. Mr. N.C.H is a long-time welder in the area. While Mr. N.C.H was welding at the bottom of the compressed air tank and Mr. N.V.H was assisting him, the tank suddenly exploded violently. The tremendous force of the explosion threw both men away, causing serious injuries. Mr. N.C.H was quickly taken to the hospital for emergency treatment but due to the severity of his injuries, he passed away 2 hours later the same day. Mr. N.V.H is currently still being treated at the hospital with multiple injuries. |
