Luxury Building Swimming Pool Collapses into Garage
Videos from security cameras show the moment when the swimming pool of a luxury building collapsed on the garage on Thursday night (22) in Greater Vitória, Brazil. No residents were injured. The building had to be evacuated after the incident and part of the neighborhood's waterfront was closed off during Civil Defense work. The Civil Defense authorized today that Tuesday (27) the return of the 270 residents to their apartments will be allowed. The 25-meter swimming pool was located in the leisure area of the building. With the fall, water fell into the garage. Several pieces of the pool were scattered on the sidewalk also. Residents said they smelled a very strong gas smell, as the pool was heated. The Parador building was delivered by the construction company Argo in 2018. In a note, the company said that it provided and maintains all necessary assistance to the families of the building, in addition to collaborating with the competent authorities and bodies. "Last Thursday, the eviction of the towers, guided by the Civil Defense, was a preventive initiative, until all the necessary evaluations were carried out. The company immediately offered to pay all the costs of the residents with hotels and the like, aiming to overcome this situation with the least possible impact. The Civil Defense issued an opinion that the building structure was not affected by the incident, corroborating the report issued by the calculating engineer, thereby allowing residents to return to their apartments. The return will take place until Tuesday, in order to safeguard the safety of residents, avoiding possible agglomerations and high flow of service providers at this time of pandemic. During this period, Argo will continue to pay the hotel and related expenses ", says part of the construction company's note. |

1,3 seconds to empty the whole Pool... Respect. But who on Earth Build that Shitty thing? Did they don´t calculate the weight of the Water to the Total Weight of the other parts? |

power of water is amazing. just that scattered pool load of water can move a stationary car without effort.
