Re: Losing Tire Leads to Crash
Typical stop in the middle of the highway for these Asian folks. Why they don’t pullover to the side of the road is beyond me. There will be an accompanying accident for the people in the cam car very shortly after the tire incident. |

Re: Losing Tire Leads to Crash
Fucking Chinese cars lol (Nio ET5 Touring) Since I see it a lot: drivers in certain jurisdictions stop the car where it is because law and/or insurance dictates such. Stupid, but regulated stupid. |

Re: Losing Tire Leads to Crash
It seems like the lug nuts stayed on the car. It was just the rubber tire itself that came off, not the rim. I've only ever seen that when people take aggressive turns... never seen that happen with somebody going straight.

Re: Losing Tire Leads to Crash
Auto tech here. Looks like they were driving on a flat which cause the tire to come off and leave the wheel behind. You can see the car is low on the right rear due to the flat tire. Maybe it had run flat tires and they decided to not slow down like you are supposed to when a run flat goes flat. |
