Re: Hwy Motorcycle Stunt at Over 100mph with a Painful Ending

You're right, a tank slapper is also referred to as a wobble or speed wobble. The dreaded wobble happens when a bike’s front wheel leaves the road and moves out of alignment while airborne. So when the tire lands back on the road the bike tries to realign itself back into position causing it to wobble. I had steering damper installed on my bike to reduce head shake and stabilize the steering.
Do you make high speed wheelies on the middle of a crowded road? Because if so, you can put any safer equipments on your bike, it will not save you...

The way to correct a tank slapper is to accelerate out of it...easier said than done when all your instincts tell you not to.

The only way this vid could have ended better is if that douce had broken apart all along the roadway.
